The 2025 NATO Communicators Conference (NCC) was held 24-25 September 2025 in Athens, Greece.
The NCC is an opportunity to convene civilian and military leaders, policy makers, and experts with a communications portfolio from across NATO Commands, Agencies, and Organisations, as well as academia, industry and media.
Prior to the conference, Bi-SC working groups for Military Public Affairs, Information Operations and Psychological Operations as well as the informal plenary working group on Strategic Communications took place at the same location. Attendance and organisation of those working groups is managed by the working group secretariats through invitation (with attendance limited to participants within the relevant Terms of Reference).
The NCC featured VVIP speeches, plenary sessions, workshops and networking opportunities.
The theme for this year’s conference was ‘Warfighting Advantage Through Cohesive Communications.’ In an era of unprecedented global challenges and complex operational environments, the theme highlighted the critical nature of being unified in our communications activities. Harnessing cognitive capabilities enables and empowers high-level decision making, resilience and operational effectiveness, and can provide the warfighting edge needed in the modern dynamic battlespace.
The NCC25 explored the alignment of NATO’s narratives in order to develop cognitive capacities across military, governments and allied entities.
