NATO Allied Command Transformation hosted Mr. Jörg See, NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Defence Policy and Planning, for a series of strategy and policy discussions. Vice Admiral Guy Robinson, Chief of Staff at NATO Allied Command Transformation, received Mr. Jörg See. Informational sessions included a focus on political strategy and transformation.
With the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, as well as threats presented by China, NATO continuously evaluates challenges towards Alliance-wide interests, security, and values. Warfare development and defence policy are critical components of NATO’s ongoing modernization. Allied Command Transformation provides strategic understanding and guidance for the transformation and modernization of the Military Instrument of Power, ensuring the Alliance’s warfighter is prepared to deter, defend, and fight today and tomorrow.
Mr. Jörg See was previously the German Military Representative to NATO and the European Union. Also included in discussions was Mr. Julien Deruffe, Political Advisor to the Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, as well as leadership from the Strategic Foresight Branch, where Allied Command Transformation focuses on approaches to long-term understanding and awareness of future security environments.
