Coronavirus Status Update

Total cases: 15

(14 U.S.-based, 1 European-based)

NATO Allied Command Transformation is taking every measure possible to protect the health of our military members, civilians and their families. As such, strict preventative measures are in place to decrease the potential exposure of staff to the virus. Our Command is operating on a distributed working structure.

Notwithstanding the measures in place to protect the health of our military members, civilians, their families and their neighbours, when a staff member at NATO’s Allied Command Transformation is diagnosed as clinically positive for the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the individual is placed in self-isolation at home and personnel that were in close contact are identified and notified as per US CDC guidelines. The areas in the workplace that the individual visited are cleaned using enhanced daily cleaning techniques and the case is reported to local U.S. military commands as well as public health authorities.

Below is a breakdown of positive cases at Allied Command Transformation. We ask members of the media to respect the privacy of the individuals.
