Are you a Bachelor or Master student interested in NATO’s transformation? Would you like to present and discuss your ideas with NATO’s senior political and military leadership?
We are looking for your ideas! As part of NATO ACT’s 20th Anniversary celebration, Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation and the International Staff Political Affairs and Security Policy Division invite students from across the Euro-Atlantic area and the MENA region to record a short video answering the following question:
“How do emerging and disruptive technologies impact the transformation of NATO?”
The video should be approximately three minutes long and can be recorded in either English or French.
Shortlisted students will be asked to develop a short policy paper elaborating on their proposal.
The best three students will be invited to participate in the Allied Command Transformation 20th Anniversary celebration in Norfolk on 07-08 June 2023 and to discuss their ideas with NATO’s senior political and military leadership. All travel arrangements and associated costs will be covered by Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation.
The challenge will close on 17 March 2023 and the winners will be announced by 14 April 2023.
Requirements:
All students who are citizens of either a NATO Ally or a NATO Partner nation are eligible to participate. Students must be enrolled in an academic programme in Allied nations or members of the Unione delle Università del Mediterraneo (UNIMED) initiative.
