ACT signs Declaration of Mutual collaboration with IBM

110114ibmsigning350Polish Army General Bieniek Mieczyslaw, Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (DSACT), and Kevin Green, IBM Vice President and Industry Leader for Defence and Intelligence, recently signed at the Headquarters of the Supreme Allied Command Transformation in Norfolk Virginia, a Declaration of Mutual Collaboration agreement to formally recognize collaboration efforts between IBM and Allied Command Transformation (ACT).

The projects will be initiated under a Framework for Collaborative Interaction (FFCI) initiative, which was recently introduced to enable ACT to benefit from industry knowledge and expertise in a wide range of capability development activities. Under the FFCI framework, both can collaborate on non-procurement projects that address challenging issues of shared interest, with the aim of assisting ongoing ACT efforts to improve NATO’s operational capabilities.
