SG NTG

• Purpose: The Steering Group NTG is the senior body within the NTG and is charged with meeting the aims and objectives of the NTG according to the MC 0238/4 (Terms of Reference of the NTG). The SGNTG will review the progress, completion and proposal of projects as well as the annual NTG report to SACT. The meeting will present the NTG achievements in 2011 in order to discuss and agree the NTG Program of Work 2012-2013. It will also provide a forum to collaborate on the future of the entire NATO training landscape emphasizing the NTG.
• Target Audience: SGNTG and EWGNTG Chairpersons, National training representatives from the Ministry of Defence level of NATO nations, Representatives from IMS, SHAPE, MCD and NSA, and Observers from partners.
• Endstate: Agreed program of work for NTG to improve cooperation in individual and collective training towards uniform standards of skill.
• Method: Identify, recommend, initiate, assign, validate and ratify suitable projects for consolidation of training within NATO and Partners through the establishment of ad hoc Task Groups.
• Timeline: 1 day.
