The U.S. Chief of Defence (Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff), Army General Martin Dempsey, briefly visited Headquarters SACT on Friday 7 September.

Here, he met with Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (SACT) French Air Force General Stephane Abrial and key members of his staff for an office call and a working lunch. Discussion focussed on the roles and mission of ACT, NATO's transformational headquarters.
