Thales Raytheon executives visit ACT

110527raytheon350Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, French Air Force General Stephane Abrial hosted executives from Thales Raytheon May 26.

Raytheon recently received a NATO contract to develop an electronic Individual Training and Education Programme (e-ITEP).

The e-ITEP is a web-based, commercial, off-the-shelf software application customised by Raytheon for the Alliance.

"This is a key milestone in the new NATO training landscape," said Allied Command Transformation Deputy Chief of Staff Karlheinz Viereck. "e-ITEP will support the goal of delivering the right training to the right people at the right time, allowing individuals arriving at a NATO post to possess the skills and competencies necessary to perform their assigned duties."
