Deputy Commander praises Morocco for being "one of the most reliable partners"
On 23 January, Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (DSACT), Polish General Mieczyslaw Bieniek paid a visit to the Kingdom of Morocco.
General Bieniek met with the Inspector General of the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces, and the Commander of South Zone General Abdelaziz Bennani; they discussed how to further improve an already good partnership with Morocco through expanded opportunities in education and training.
Bieniek took the opportunity to thank Morocco for being “one of NATO’s most reliable partners in the region” and for “the personal sacrifice of 168 troops supporting NATO operations in KFOR”. He also encouraged his host to participate in two of ACT’s key events – Strategic Military Partner Conference and Chiefs of Transformation Conference – as well as Leader Seminars.
